One of Malta's biggest advantages is that universities actively support students in the visa process. There are two mandatory requirements for the visa file:
University Visa Support Letter
A mandatory letter issued by the university. Must be available at the time of visa application.
Accommodation Letter
1 month paid accommodation is compulsory — cost: €880. Must be submitted with the visa file.
Health Insurance (IHS)
Arranged through the university. Cost: €575 for 1 year. Refundable if visa is refused (university-arranged only).
